This clever and humorous show excels at crafting a relatable protagonist in its titular character, whose childlike naivety and precocious intellect provide comedic gold. However, some viewers may find the depiction of his family dynamics uneven, with certain characters feeling one-dimensional or serving as convenient plot devices. Despite this, the show’s sharp writing and outstanding cast performances consistently elevate the series to a high level of entertainment value. Overall, it is a solid (and in my opinion, the better series) addition to the popular franchise that started its parent series.
