This animated film offers a somewhat fresh take on the aviation genre, with engaging characters, good casting, and a well-paced story line. The animation is vibrant and detailed, bringing the world of air travel to life in an appealing way. However, the story suffers from predictability, relying on familiar tropes that don’t bring much originality to the table, since it is easily seen to be a spin off of the Cars franchise with very similar plot elements. Overall, it’s a fun but unremarkable watch for families and fans of the genre, that doesn’t bring all the normal Pixar qualities to the table.
